Great Concert venue and show
The interaction of all the bands was great - loved the show. Loved the new screens for the lawn area that were installed. This year was the first for chair rental at the PNC, an easy process for us as we have been going for several years now and always get lawn seats. Check-in was great and easy using digital tickets, and we all use clear bags now for festivals/concerts. Considering there were 5 bands, ticket prices were good.
Now for the downside - it can be difficult to see if you are on a blanket when full-size folding chairs get in front of you. Regular folding chairs were not allowed before, but now they are. I think there should be sections for blankets and short/rental chairs in the front of the lawn and regular size folding chairs behind them. This will help people on blankets see better with less obstruction.
Beverage prices are outrageous and keep going up. There should be more wine selections with cheaper brands and prices (no Moscato available). The booth worker did not know the difference between the wines (said Pino was close, which it is not).
Restrooms were very clean but hot - more ventilation is needed. Despite a small storm passing close by, there were no instructions or postponement for lightning. There was no information on where people should shelter in case of emergency (we probably would have gone to the restrooms). Overall, staff was friendly and helpful, and the venue and chairs were clean.
A good weekend overall, and we will definitely be coming back. Hopefully, there will be updates and improvements.
